Raquel Gordon

Welcome to the Olympia Elementary School Clinic.

I am Nurse Raquel Gordon and am very excited for my seventh year here at Olympia.  

I earned my R.N. at San Antonio College in 2013 and my B.S.N. at Texas Tech University in 2014. Before school nursing, I worked at a hospital in the following departments: Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and BMT, Pediatric Medical/Surgical and Pediatric Radiology.

What to expect during the year:

Every year your child will be screened for vision and hearing. This is done at the beginning of the year to ensure your child has the support they need to have a successful year.

In addition, the 5^th grade girls will be screened for scoliosis to help our students and parents plan for early intervention, if needed.

Also, just an FYI, we do accept gently used clothing (we use these for any accidents that may have occurred)

Timelines:

All forms signed by a doctor are good for the current school year. New forms will be needed the following school year.
