Mr. shannon George

Welcome, I am proud to serve as the principal of the Fine Arts Academy at Olympia!

My career has spanned 25 years all of which has specialized with children, 18 years in education at all age levels from elementary to high school and prior to that I worked in both juvenile probation and at the state hospital.  I have worked the past few years in Judson as an administrator, but I have also served in teaching and leadership positions in both Northside and SCUCISD.  My certifications include special education K-12 and Principal.  I previously completed my master’s in educational leadership at UTSA, and my undergraduate in Psychology at Texas A&M. 

I am very excited to be at Olympia and proud of the amazing success our kids, staff, and parents have made.  We have an amazing community that has responded to build a community partnership that comes together to help our kids be successful.  Please take a moment to read about our core values, mission, and vision for our school and your students.  We are also a strong advocate of restorative practices to instill socio-emotional learning you can find examples of how we do this in our about us section.
